At Blackard Farms, our main focus is our AKC Anatolian Shepherds which are some of the finest livestock guardian bloodlines in the country. Both of the dam’s parents are AKC champions, the sire also has AKC champions in his bloodline. Yes they can be AKC champions and livestock guardian dogs- LGDs. Kudos to the breeder we got them from years ago.
05-17-23 We had a litter born last night. Go to the ‘2023 Litter β May 16‘ to see their 1st pictures. (5 male, 4 female – 3 brindle and 6 fawn. )π Absolutely adorable! Pictures are dated, new posts go at the top
We’ll be certain to post new pictures several times a week. In about another week they should be running around and that’s when we’ll get really good videos. Right now it’s hard to catch them not nursing.
Our area including us, were hit by 2 tornados March 31, 2023 and due to the damage we have reduced our prices on this litter and will offer discounts for homes that purchase more than 1 puppy. It will be months before we have our damage restored. Our loss can be your gain.
If you’re thinking of taking the ultimate step in providing LGD protection for your farm, your first step is to use the ‘Contact‘ option under the Menu at the top of each page. Talk with us so we can help each other get you connected to the puppy that best suits your needs. After your initial email we can exchange phone numbers.
These pups go quickly. I’ve never heard from a dissatisfied customer, and our puppies have gone all over the United States.
To navigate this website, please put your mouse over our ‘Menu’ near the top of each page. Different drop down menus will allow you to better find what you are interested in.
You’ll see topics such as lots of information on Anatolians and our thoughts and beliefs on this breed, Landscaping, Fencing, Computers, Gardening, Pastures, Goats, Farming tips & tricks, About Us, and more. Information on these other pages may help you on your farming journey. Work smarter not harder.
We are always willing to assist and help you succeed in your journey!!! We do not spend time texting and using Messenger. Running a farm consumes most of our time.
We’re here to help. Reach out via the Contact page. We will help if we can.
We’re not experts but we have learned a lot through the years on many topics, but we can not guarantee positive results by using any information on this website.
