WILDLIFE 1

Here are a few pictures of wildlife here on the property. The fish are amazing. And we always put the big bass back because they are the egg layers. We harvest the smaller ones when we want fish to eat. There are packs of 1-2 lb juveniles that patrol the banks looking for a meal.

2 Canada geese normally appear every Spring and nest somewhere on the lake. Other Canada geese visit occasionally but the pair always chases them away. They’ve been nesting here close to 10 years.

There are abundant squirrel, and an occasional wild turkey of which there are many close by. Song birds, hummingbirds, red shoulder hawks, owls, wild herons, wild ducks, and many other types of wildlife, all which thrive on the property.

We recently saw our 1st bald eagle on the lake. That was pretty neat.

Split tail on this one. The next picture, the bass has no split tail. The second one was caught on the next cast after catching and releasing the first fish.

These 3 were caught 3 casts in a row.
